Trade Marketing Executive

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Trade Marketing Executive to drive consumer trial, brand engagement, trade visibility and customer conversion through sampling, activations, events, bazaars and strategic key-account partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute product sampling, consumer trials and brand activation programs.

• Organize and participate in events, bazaars, exhibitions, shows and trade activations.

• Represent the company and brand professionally at public events and consumer engagements.

• Develop attractive and impactful brand visibility and event presence.

• Work closely with Key Accounts to develop partnerships, collaborations and joint activations.

• Collaborate with the Sales team to drive sales growth, customer conversion and outlet activation.

• Capture and properly record consumer feedback following product testing and trials.

• Monitor and report sampling results, consumer reach, trials and conversions.

• Coordinate with relevant local administrations and authorities to obtain required event approvals, permits and clearances.

• Ensure all required event documentation, approvals, quotations, agreements and post-event reports are properly completed and filed.

• Ensure activities comply with company procedures, approved budgets and local requirements.

• Monitor competitor activities and identify opportunities to strengthen brand presence.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Communications or related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Activation, FMCG, Events or Sales is preferred.

• Strong communication, presentation, coordination and interpersonal skills.

• Creative, energetic and comfortable working in the field.

• Strong execution, organization and problem-solving skills.

• Good understanding of the Ethiopian food consumer and trade environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with reporting tools is an advantage.
