Job Requirements
Qualification:
- BA or B.Ed. Degree in Amharic or Afan Oromo.
- Above 10 years of experience in a private school.
- Deep mastery of grammar, literature, and regional language pedagogy.
- Proven track record of preparing students for regional examinations.
- Fluent in Amharic or Afan Oromo and can competently conduct all classroom instructions
- Develops lesson plans which meet established school and national curriculum models
- Outstanding communicators and have strong interpersonal skills
- Committed and passionate to teaching and highly motivated towards student development and growth
- Willing to offer after school enrichment activities and support students
- Active team players and problem solvers with a good sense of humor
- Willingness to participate in inset trainings
- Preference will be given to teachers who can teach multiple subjects

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead language instruction focusing on rich textual analysis, literature appreciation, and flawless grammar structure.
- Design targeted preparatory modules tailored to regional language examination formats.
- Supervise & motivate language events, debates, and mother-tongue celebration programs.
- Review curriculum frameworks to enhance linguistic proficiency.
- Coach and mentor junior Amharic & Afan oromo teachers on effective instructional methods.
