Job Overview
Selam Media is an innovative professional media company. We are looking for an experienced, creative and imaginative Videographer & Video Editor to join our team. This position focuses entirely on video shooting and post-video editing with no brand promotion responsibilities. You will independently complete the full production process for short videos, commercial clips, documentary videos and social media visual content. We value solid practical experience, proficient editing skills, unique aesthetic and creative thinking to deliver high-quality original video works.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently complete all kinds of video shooting tasks, including social media short videos, commercial videos, portrait videos and documentary videos; take occasional supporting photos as required.
- Control shooting movement, lighting, composition and video rhythm independently to create high-quality and stylized video footage.
- Complete full post-production work including material sorting, video cutting, splicing, music matching, subtitle design, color grading, noise reduction and final video optimization.
- Understand project requirements accurately, confirm video styles with the team, and deliver qualified finished videos on schedule.
- Organize and archive video materials and project files; maintain and manage shooting equipment to ensure normal working conditions.
- Keep up with trending video styles and shooting languages, integrate creative ideas into video creation, and continuously improve video visual quality and presentation effects.

Requirements
- At least 1 year of professional experience in video shooting and video editing with solid practical skills.
- Proficient in operating cameras, stabilizers, fill lights and other professional shooting equipment, able to complete independent on-site shooting.
- Skilled in mainstream editing software including Premiere Pro, After Effects and CapCut; proficient in video cutting, color grading, subtitle production and basic special effects; basic PS/LR skills for simple image processing.
- Strong sense of lens, lighting, color and video rhythm; outstanding creativity and independent aesthetic judgment for original video production.
- Able to understand project demands quickly, work efficiently and finish video production within the required cycle.
- Good communication skills, execution ability and strong sense of responsibility.
- Candidates with personal video portfolios and finished works are highly preferred.
