Transport and Maintenance Department Head

Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Transport Management.

• Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in fleet management, vehicle maintenance, or transport administration (requiring 5–7 years in a leadership or senior role).  

• Required No.:  One

• Salary : Negotiable

•  Employment Type: permanent          

Duties and Responsibilities

• Fleet Operations: Oversee daily vehicle scheduling, dispatch, route planning, and logistics efficiency.

• Maintenance & Repairs: Design and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to reduce downtime.

• Staff Supervision: Manage and evaluate drivers, mechanics, and maintenance technicians.

• Cost & Budget Control: Track fuel consumption, manage spare parts inventory, and optimize operating budgets.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge & training of Auto mechanic and garage operation. Experience working in the areas of transport management.

• Self-initiator and working effectively with a minimum supervision, Experienced in managing Team.

• Good communication skill.

• Knowledge of Basic computer is mandatory.

• Ability to work in stress, and fast paced collaborative environment.
