Job Description
Position: Tour Operator / Operations Officer Vacancy
Great Wall Africa Tour (GWAT) is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Tour Operator / Operations Officer.
Requirements
Preferred Profile
- 2–5 years of experience in tour operations
- Degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field
Skills
- Excellent English communication skills
- Chinese language ability is a major advantage
- Experience handling Chinese tourist groups is highly preferred
- Good knowledge of Ethiopian tourism destinations
- Strong Excel, quotation, costing, and budgeting skills
- Experience negotiating with hotels and transportation providers
- Ability to coordinate groups of 20–50+ passengers
- Strong communication and coordination skills with guides, drivers, hotels, and other suppliers
- Flexible and available to support weekend and holiday operations when required
