We Are Hiring – Technical Supervisor
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing our IT infrastructure, ERP systems, POS systems, and business applications to ensure smooth and reliable operations across our duty-free environment.
Job Summary
The Technical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of all information technology systems within the duty-free operation. The role ensures the continuous availability, security, and efficiency of the company's ERP system, Point of Sale (POS) systems, network infrastructure, servers, user devices, and related technologies. The Technical Supervisor also provides technical leadership to the IT support team, coordinates system implementations, and works closely with all departments to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Administration
- Administer and support the company's ERP system.
- Monitor ERP performance and troubleshoot system issues.
- Coordinate with software vendors for upgrades, maintenance, and technical support.
- Ensure accurate user access management and security.
- Assist departments in optimizing ERP processes.
Retail & POS Systems
- Maintain and support all POS terminals.
- Configure POS hardware and software.
- Resolve POS transaction issues.
- Ensure proper integration between POS and ERP.
- Support barcode scanners, receipt printers, cash drawers, and payment terminals.
Network & Infrastructure
- Supervise LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Monitor network performance and availability.
- Maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN connections.
- Ensure business continuity of IT infrastructure.
Hardware & System Support
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices.
- Maintain servers and backup systems.
- Monitor system performance and storage utilization.
- Ensure regular software updates and security patches.
Database & Application Support
- Support ERP databases and application services.
- Assist in data backup and recovery.
- Monitor database health and system logs.
- Coordinate database maintenance with vendors where applicable.
Software Development & Integration
- Experience with CNET versions 6 and/or 7 is required.
- Develop and maintain business applications using C# (.NET).
- Customize ERP modules and reports where required.
- Develop system integrations between ERP and third-party applications.
- Support API integrations and data synchronization.
Security & Compliance
- Implement IT security policies.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and user permissions.
- Monitor system access and security logs.
- Ensure compliance with company IT standards and data protection policies.
Team Supervision
- Supervise IT support staff.
- Assign daily technical tasks.
- Provide coaching and technical guidance.
- Monitor team performance.
- Coordinate after-hours support when required.
Documentation
- Maintain IT asset inventory.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Update system configuration records.
- Maintain disaster recovery documentation.
Vendor Management
- Coordinate with hardware and software vendors.
- Manage maintenance contracts.
- Evaluate new technology solutions.
- Monitor vendor service levels.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience in IT infrastructure, ERP support, or retail systems.
- Experience supporting ERP solutions in a retail, warehouse, logistics, or duty-free environment is preferred.
- Experience supervising technical staff is an advantage.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET application development.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and database management.
- Experience with Windows Server administration.
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Windows environments.
- Experience supporting retail POS systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners, receipt printers, handheld terminals, and other retail devices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices.

Working Conditions
- The position operates within an airport retail environment that functions on a shift-based schedule to support continuous business operations.
- The Technical Supervisor will be required to work flexible hours, including morning, evening, night, weekends, and public holidays when required.
- Occasional travel between duty-free stores, warehouses, and administrative offices.
