Duty Stations: Addis Ababa
Job Purpose
To support the design, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and change management processes that drive ZamZam Bank’s growth and transformation. The officer ensures alignment of projects with the bank’s Sharia-compliant mission, facilitates smooth organizational change, and helps embed a culture of continuous improvement and agility across all business units.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Strategy Development – Assist in formulating and updating the bank’s strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Islamic finance principles and organizational goals.
- Facilitate Change Management Initiatives – Coordinate and support change projects by preparing communication plans, training materials, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Monitor and Report on Change Progress – Track implementation of change initiatives, identify risks or resistance, and report status and impact to management.
- Analyse Business Processes – Evaluate current processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, agility, and Sharia compliance.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with departments to ensure smooth execution of strategic and change initiatives.
- Support Performance Monitoring – Assist in collecting and analysing data related to strategic objectives and change outcomes, contributing to regular progress reports.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Education: B.A Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other Business related fields.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience of which 1 year as Officer I in change management area
Key Competencies: Change Management processes, Strategic alignment, data collection & analysis, analytical thinking, communication & engagement, adaptability & resilience, initiative & accountability
Additional Advantage: Knowledge and understanding of Interest-Free Banking.
