Job Description
Position Summary
The Strategic Business Development Division Head is responsible for leading the division in identifying, developing, and qualifying business opportunities, strengthening customer relationships, expanding market presence, and supporting the achievement of the company's growth and revenue objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic business development initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
Lead market expansion and business growth initiatives.
Identify and qualify strategic business opportunities across target sectors.
Oversee opportunity pipeline management and business forecasting.
Support Go/No-Go decision-making for prospective projects.
Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Lead market intelligence, competitive analysis, and strategic planning activities.
Mentor, develop, and manage the division team to achieve performance targets.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in strategic business development or strategic planning.
Minimum of 3 years in leadership, project development, proposal management, or engineering coordination.
Strong knowledge of the engineering, construction, electromechanical, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
