About the Position
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our factory store. The successful candidate will ensure the proper receipt, storage, control, and issuance of raw materials, electrical components, spare parts, consumables, finished products, and other materials required for transformer manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store and warehouse activities.
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, specifications, and supporting documents.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and organization of materials.
- Control the issuance of raw materials, components, tools, spare parts, and consumables to production and other departments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and stock cards.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when required.
- Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper handling and preservation of electrical and transformer manufacturing materials.
- Apply FIFO/FEFO principles where applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and store reports.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, damaged, and excess materials.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety requirements, and warehouse standards.
- Supervise store personnel, assign duties, and monitor their performance.
- Maintain cleanliness, security, and proper housekeeping within the store area.
- Support periodic and annual inventory audits.
- Perform other store-related duties assigned by management.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Business Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years/4 years of relevant experience in store/warehouse supervision, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical equipment factory.
- Experience with inventory management and material control systems.
- Good knowledge of warehouse procedures, stock management, and documentation.
- Computer literacy and ability to use MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
- Good communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
Experience handling transformer manufacturing materials, including electrical components, copper/aluminum conductors, insulation materials, transformer oil, mechanical components, spare parts, and production consumables, will be an advantage.
