Store Keeper

Reports to: Operation Manager

Location: Harar/Dire Dawa Ethiopia

Job Summary:

A Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, storing and issuing material and maintaining accurate records, monitors stock levels and ensures proper organization of the Input and Finished goods warehouse.. Overall, work closely with the Operation teams to ensure timely availability of materials and proper management of stocks. Organizing and accounting the existing goods,

implementing a proven storekeeping software and keeping a digital record of all items.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing materials.

• Conduct regular stock checks to ensure proper inventory levels.

• Implement efficient storage and organization systems for raw materials and finished products.

• Manage the incoming and outgoing spare part and consumable items

• Collaborate with the operation team to identify materials needed for production.

• Assist in the procurement process by providing accurate inventory information.

• Monitor stock levels

• Ensure the quality of stored materials.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address any issues with stock.

• Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions.

• Generate reports on stock levels, consumption, and replenishment needs.

• Prepare documentation for material transfers and shipments.

• Adhere to safety protocols for handling and storing materials.

• Report any safety or compliance concerns to the relevant authorities.

• Liaise with different departments to understand material requirements

• Collaborate with the production team to optimize material flow.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in any social field.

• Proven experience in warehouse management

• Proficiency in using inventory management tools.

Experience: 3-4 years of experience

Languages Required: Amharic & Englishmen in Senior HR roles
