Job Description
Diploma & above in Garment Technology, Fashion designer, Textile engineering or any related field of studies and 2 /4 of years of relevant experience in garment industry
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines and related equipment.
- Stitch garment components according to approved specifications and operation standards.
- Read and follow technical sheets, sewing instructions, and sample garments.
- Ensure garments meet quality requirements before passing them to the next operation.
- Identify and report sewing defects, machine malfunctions, and quality issues.
- Perform basic machine cleaning and routine maintenance.
- Meet daily production targets and efficiency standards.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company regulations.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation using 5S principles.
- Work collaboratively with quality controllers, line leaders, and supervisors.
- Participate in continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
Requirements
To operate sewing machines and ensure garment products are stitched according to company quality standards, production targets, and customer specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency in the production process.
TVET Level III/IV or Diploma in Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Fashion Design, or related field.
