Senior Highway Engineer (Contract Basis)

Experience: Minimum 6 years of proven professional experience in highway/road /building design and construction supervision

We are seeking one (1) highly qualified and experienced Senior Highway Engineer to lead highway and road/building design, project coordination, and construction supervision activities. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in road and highway engineering, project management, and construction supervision, with practical experience in infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead highway and road design activities from feasibility and preliminary design through to detailed design.

• Prepare and review road alignment, geometric design, pavement design, drainage, and other highway engineering drawings and calculations.

• Supervise road and highway construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

• Review BOQs, technical specifications, tender documents, and cost estimates for road and highway projects.

• Monitor project progress, quantities, quality, and compliance with approved work programs.

• Apply appropriate digital engineering and BIM/GIS tools in highway design and project implementation where applicable.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum 6 years of proven professional experience in highway/road /building design and construction supervision

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering software such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, OpenRoads, MX Road, HDM-4, or equivalent software.

• Experience with BIM, GIS, or other digital engineering tools is an advantage.

• Professional registration/license is an advantage.
