Senior Finance Manager

Role Description

SNFD Bakery PLC (Mulmul Bakery) are seeking a seasoned Senior Finance Manager to drive our financial operations and lead our accounting department. This role is focused on department management, financial control, and ERP optimization. The successful candidate will ensure our company portfolio is managed with high precision while leveraging CNET ERP to its full potential.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or with related field of study

•  Certification: IFRS training Certificate

Experience:

• 5 –7 years of relevant experience in a Finance Manager role.

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia- Haile Garment

Salary: Negotiable

Duties and Responsibilities

Department Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of accountants.

• Review all ledger entries, reconciliations, and payroll to ensure 100% accuracy.

CNET ERP Super-User:

• Act as the primary administrator for the CNET ERP system.

• Optimize appropriate modules and ensure the system is providing up to date report.

IFRS Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements following IFRS.

Internal Controls:

• Maintain and audit internal controls following the internal procedures

• High-level financial planning, debt sourcing, and analyzing the ROIs when needed.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide the CEO with monthly "Budget vs. Actual" variance analysis.

Skills & Competencies

• Software Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of ERP s mandatory.

• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IFRS and Ethiopian Commercial Code/Tax Laws and other technical knowledge is mandatory.

• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
