Duties and Responsibilities:

1.      Preventative and responsive maintenance efforts on electrical and instrumentation equipment

2.      Troubleshooting and repairing Electric parts of machines and equipment.

3.      Assists Maintenance Manager in establishing schedules and methods for providing preventive maintenance and repair services.

4.      Overhauling equipment parts in the maintenance shop.

5.      Maintains safety, quality and housekeeping in job areas.

6.      Operates machines and other equipment to observe operation and diagnose malfunctions or to test repaired equipment.

7.      Ability to read, follow, understand, communicate schematics

8.      Prepares accurate and timely service reports for the jobs completed and submits them on time.

9.      Maintains and secures work tools.

10.  Completes all tasks accurately & punctually so that the Nursery will function safely & efficiently.

11.  Performs other related duties as assigned. 

12.  Report as required to managers.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

-          10+3/Diploma in Electricity from a recognized technical school, level IV TVET (MUST)/ alternatively BA in electrical engineering.

-          Excellent English (MUST)

-          Excellent Numerical Skills (MUST)

-          Microsoft office (ADVANTAGE)

-          Experience of at least 2 years in maintenance activity in an industrial maintenance environment preferably similar company

-          Valid Driving License

-          Ability to use and understand technical drawings, specifications, and service manuals

-          Physically fit, Reliable and available to work rotating 8-hour shifts (including weekends).

-          Team player, self-disciplined, honest with high integrity.
