Senior Cost Accountant & Export Operations

Daye Bensa Business PLC, a leading player in the coffee export and diversified business sector, is seeking highly motivated and experienced senior accountant to join our team for the following position.

Position: Senior Cost Accountant & Export Operations

Reports To: Export & Foreign Trade Head (or Head of Finance)

Required no: 1

Main Responsibility: Lead export costing activities, support export operational performance monitoring, analyze manufacturing and export costs, evaluate profitability, and support departmental performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain export costing systems.

• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM).

• Analyze manufacturing and processing variances.

• Review shipment costing and profitability.

• Analyze export sales margins per shipment.

• Monitor departmental performance indicators.

• Support the Export & Foreign Trade Head in monitoring overall departmental performance.

• Review inventory cost allocations.

• Prepare monthly cost and profitability reports.

• Supervise Senior Cost Accountant I / Inventory Accountant.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·         6 years of proven experience on specific position.

·         Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

·         Experience with accounting software and ERP
