Job Purpose

To supervise and ensure accurate and timely chemical analysis of raw, treated, and finished water, while monitoring and controlling water-treatment processes to maintain consistent product quality. The position is responsible for laboratory operations, chemical testing, water-quality monitoring, and investigation of abnormal test results, documentation, reporting, and supervision of laboratory personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze raw, treated, and finished water for chemical parameters such as pH, TDS, hardness, minerals, and contaminants.

• Monitor chemical quality throughout the water-treatment and bottling processes.

• Supervise chemists, laboratory technicians, testing activities, and daily laboratory operations.

•  Monitor and optimize water-treatment processes to maintain consistent product quality.

• Ensure laboratory results and products meet applicable water-quality and regulatory standards.

•  Investigate abnormal test results and identify possible sources of chemical contamination.

•  Review test results and maintain accurate laboratory records.

• Prepare laboratory and water-quality reports.

•  Support audits and quality-management systems.

• Education: Degree

• Field of Study: Applied Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, and related fields.

• Experience: More than 5 years of relevant work experience.

• Age: 20–30 years.

   Skills:

Analytical and Laboratory Skills: Proficient in chemical analysis, testing methods, and laboratory instruments.

Quality Control and Assurance: Strong knowledge of quality standards, specifications, and compliance requirements.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify causes of abnormal results and implement effective corrective actions.

Leadership and Supervision: Ability to lead laboratory staff, assign tasks, and ensure accurate and timely testing.
