### Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, reconciliations, and internal controls for our factory operations.
### Key Responsibilities
- Manage GL, AP/AR, and month-end/year-end closing
- Prepare P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
- Perform bank, inventory, inter-division, and account reconciliations
- Ensure timely VAT, withholding, and income tax compliance
- Reconcile payroll and pension contributions
- Monitor budgets and investigate variances
- Maintain fixed asset and depreciation records
- Support manufacturing cost accounting
- Supervise junior accounting staff
- Coordinate external audits

Requirements
Requirements
- BA in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field
- 3+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing/trading
- Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax requirements
- Experience with Peachtree/Sage, ERP systems, and advanced Excel
- CPA/ACCA or other professional certification is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure
### Key Performance Expectations
- Month-end close within 5 working days
- Timely VAT and withholding tax filings
- Weekly bank reconciliations with minimal outstanding items
- Accurate payroll/pension reconciliation
- Monthly financial statements delivered by the 10th
- Continuous improvement in audit findings
