As part of our growing Salesforce practice, we are seeking a capable and motivated Salesforce Administrator & Implementer to support the configuration, implementation, deployment, administration, and ongoing improvement of Salesforce solutions for our clients.

The position combines Salesforce platform administration with hands-on implementation responsibilities and requires strong understanding of business processes, CRM concepts, workflow automation, data management, security, reporting, and end-user support.

Position Summary

The Salesforce Administrator & Implementer will work closely with customers, business analysts, developers, project managers, and technical teams to configure and implement Salesforce solutions that address business requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations, workflows, security models, reports, dashboards, and operational processes. The role will also support data migration, testing, user training, deployment, system administration, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support.

While extensive software-development experience is not required, the candidate should understand Salesforce development concepts and be able to collaborate effectively with Apex and Lightning Web Component developers when requirements require custom development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Salesforce Administration
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce organizations.
  • Create and manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and permission-set groups.
  • Configure organization-wide defaults, sharing rules, role hierarchies, and record access.
  • Create and maintain standard and custom objects.
  • Configure fields, relationships, record types, page layouts, Lightning pages, and applications.
  • Develop and maintain validation rules, formula fields, assignment rules, escalation rules, and approval processes.
  • Configure reports, dashboards, list views, and analytical capabilities.
  • Maintain data quality through duplicate-management rules, validation controls, and data-governance practices.
  • Monitor system usage, configuration, security, and platform performance.
  • Support sandbox, testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration records.
  • Salesforce Implementation
  • Participate in customer discovery and requirements-gathering workshops.
  • Document business processes and functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing customer processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations and implementation designs.
  • Configure Salesforce solutions according to agreed requirements.
  • Support Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other Salesforce solutions as required.
  • Develop Salesforce Flow automations, including record-triggered flows, screen flows, scheduled flows, autolaunched flows, and reusable subflows.
  • Configure case management, lead management, opportunity management, approval processes, and other CRM workflows.
  • Participate in prototype and solution-demonstration sessions.
  • Support solution validation with business stakeholders.
  • Identify requirements that require Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, or other custom development and coordinate with Salesforce developers.
  • Data Management and Migration
  • Analyze source data for migration into Salesforce.
  • Support data cleansing, transformation, mapping, and validation.
  • Import and export Salesforce data.
  • Use Salesforce Data Import Wizard, Data Loader, and related tools.
  • Perform data reconciliation after migration.
  • Develop data-quality controls.
  • Support large-scale data migration activities where necessary.
  • Maintain data integrity and appropriate access controls.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance
  • Prepare functional test scenarios and test cases.
  • Conduct configuration and functional testing.
  • Support system integration testing.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing.
  • Track and resolve defects and configuration issues.
  • Validate workflows, permissions, reports, and business rules before deployment.
  • Participate in regression testing following Salesforce releases or system enhancements.

  • Support movement of configuration between Salesforce environments.
  • Work with Salesforce sandboxes and production organizations.
  • Assist with release planning and deployment activities.
  • Use change sets and source-based deployment approaches as appropriate.

  • Gather user feedback and recommend system improvements.
  • Monitor adoption and identify areas requiring additional training or configuration.
  • Promote Salesforce best practices across customer organizations.
  • Support and Continuous Improvement
  • Provide first- and second-level Salesforce application support.
  • Troubleshoot user, configuration, data, permission, and workflow issues.
  • Analyze incidents and determine root causes.
  • Coordinate complex technical issues with Salesforce developers or solution architects.
  • Maintain issue and enhancement logs.
  • Recommend improvements based on user feedback and business requirements.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce platform capabilities and releases.
  • Support ongoing optimization of deployed solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Practical understanding of CRM concepts and business processes.
  • Experience configuring or administering Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, permissions, and security.
  • Experience with workflow and business-process automation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Flow.
  • Experience with data import, export, cleansing, and migration.
  • Ability to develop reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
