Job Description

Project Manager– Koelim Hospitality Learning Center

Organization: Gudina Tumsa Foundation (GTF)

Contract Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension based upon performance)

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of the Koelim Hospitality Learning Center
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the project and ensure activities are implemented efficiently and on schedule. 
  • Monitor and follow up on all project activities, deliverables, and timelines to ensure successful completion. 
  • Oversee the construction and establishment of the Learning Center, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality work, timely completion, and compliance with project standards. 
  • Build and maintain partnerships with universities, hotels, tourism organizations, government agencies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders. 
  • Support business development initiatives and identify revenue-generating opportunities for the Center. 
  • Follow up on marketing, branding, and promotion materials being developed for the Center in preparation for launch. 
  • Follow up to ensure completion of budgets, progress reports, and performance monitoring evaluations.  
  • Supervise project staff, consultants, and service providers while fostering professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement. 

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in project management, Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Experience in project planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting. 
  • Strong business development, partnership management, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Experience working with government institutions, private sector organizations, international partners, consultants, and contractors is an advantage. 
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills. 
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support sustainable tourism and hospitality initiatives.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are mandatory. 
  • Knowledge of tourism and hospitality operations, industry standards, customer service, destination development, and hospitality management are preferred.
