Job Description
Project Manager– Koelim Hospitality Learning Center
Organization: Gudina Tumsa Foundation (GTF)
Contract Duration: 1 year (with possibility of extension based upon performance)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, implementation, and coordination of the Koelim Hospitality Learning Center
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the project and ensure activities are implemented efficiently and on schedule.
- Monitor and follow up on all project activities, deliverables, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
- Oversee the construction and establishment of the Learning Center, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality work, timely completion, and compliance with project standards.
- Build and maintain partnerships with universities, hotels, tourism organizations, government agencies, development partners, and private sector stakeholders.
- Support business development initiatives and identify revenue-generating opportunities for the Center.
- Follow up on marketing, branding, and promotion materials being developed for the Center in preparation for launch.
- Follow up to ensure completion of budgets, progress reports, and performance monitoring evaluations.
- Supervise project staff, consultants, and service providers while fostering professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (preferred) or bachelor’s degree in project management, Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in project planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
- Strong business development, partnership management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with government institutions, private sector organizations, international partners, consultants, and contractors is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and support sustainable tourism and hospitality initiatives.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) are mandatory.
- Knowledge of tourism and hospitality operations, industry standards, customer service, destination development, and hospitality management are preferred.
