About The Job Job Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for coordinating and controlling the technical and operational aspects of the assigned construction project. The position serves as a key link between project management, engineering, construction, planning, procurement, ǪA/ǪC, HSE, quantity surveying, subcontractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

The Project Engineer will ensure that construction activities are properly planned, coordinated, technically compliant, adequately resourced, and executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, quality standards, contractual requirements, and project objectives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.

• Professional registration or relevant construction license.

• Additional training or certification in Project Management, Construction Management, Planning, Contract Management, or Project Controls is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant construction project experience.

• Experience in coordinating medium- to large-scale building, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or similar construction projects.

• Demonstrated experience in project coordination, technical management, and construction execution.

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities and subcontractors.

• Strong practical understanding of structural, architectural, finishing, and MEP interfaces.

• Experience with project planning, progress monitoring, resource coordination, and reporting is preferred.

• Experience with construction contracts, variations, claims, or FIDIC is an advantage.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Construction project execution and coordination.

• Construction methods and sequencing.

• Engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• BOǪ interpretation and quantity verification.

• Structural and civil construction.

• Architectural and finishing works.

• MEP coordination and construction interfaces.

• Construction planning and scheduling.

• Progress monitoring and reporting.

• Resource and productivity management.

• Procurement and material coordination.

• ǪA/ǪC procedures and construction inspections.

• HSE requirements in construction.

• Basic construction contract administration.

• Variation and change management.

Required Software Skills

• AutoCAD

• MS Office, particularly MS Excel

• Primavera P6 and/or MS Project

• BIM/Revit – Advantage

• Project management and document control systems – Advantage
