Job Description
Position Summary
The Project Development Division Head is responsible for leading and managing the Project Development Division by transforming qualified business opportunities into technically sound, commercially competitive, and executable project proposals. The role ensures all project development activities align with organizational objectives, customer requirements, and business growth targets.
The position reports to the Business Development Head and leads a multidisciplinary team comprising:
Solution Development Engineer
Proposal Development Officer
Tender & Documentation Officer
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage project development activities from qualified opportunity through proposal submission.
Develop and implement divisional plans, objectives, and performance targets.
Conduct project feasibility assessments and support Go/No-Go decision-making.
Oversee solution development, proposal preparation, and tender management.
Ensure technical proposals are compliant, competitive, and of the highest quality.
Coordinate with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and external stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in proposal development processes, methodologies, and knowledge management.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project development team.
Requirements
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, ICT Engineering, or a related field.
A Master's Degree is an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in project development, business development, or strategic planning.
At least 3 years in project development, proposal management, engineering coordination, or leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of the engineering, construction, electromechanical, or technology sectors is highly desirable.
