Skyline Import and Export PLC is an Ethiopian company engaged in pharmaceutical importation, Export of Agricultural products and related business activities. As part of its business expansion, the Company is establishing its pharmaceutical wholesale and distribution division and is looking for energetic, results-oriented and responsible professionals to join its team.

Position 1: Pharmaceutical Sales
Employer: Skyline Import and Export PLC
Business Line: Pharmaceutical Import, Wholesale & Distribution
Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
Employment Type: Full-time
Required number: Two (2)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Government and Private Hospitals, NGOs, Pharmacies, clinics and other authorized pharmaceutical customers.
- Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
- Promote and sell the Company's pharmaceutical product portfolio.
- Achieve assigned monthly, Quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular customer visits and identify customer product requirements.
- Prepare and follow up quotations, customer orders and sales opportunities.
- Follow up customer orders and coordinate with the warehouse and operations teams for timely delivery.
- Monitor market demand, competitor activities, prices and product availability.
- Follow up customer payments and outstanding receivables in coordination with the Finance team.
- Provide accurate and timely sales reports to management.
- Maintain an updated customer database and records of customer visits and activities.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support the introduction and promotion of new pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain professional conduct and comply with applicable pharmaceutical regulations and Company policies.
Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Marketing and Business Administration are advantages.
- Previous experience of 3 years and above in pharmaceutical, equipment and medical supplies wholesales is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of the Ethiopian pharmaceutical market and established customer relationships is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Good customer relationship management and follow-up skills.
- Results-oriented, self-motivated and accountable.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability and willingness to travel for customer visits when required.
- A valid driving license is an advantage.
