ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Packing and Dispatching Junior Expert I position who meet the following requirements.

Reports to: Head, Election Logistics Department
Duty station: NEBE Head Quarter, Addis Ababa
Duration: Permanent
Salary: As per the organization salary scale
Job Summary
The Packing and Dispatching Junior Expert will help in ensuring efficient and effective packing and dispatching of election materials.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assists the Packing and Dispatching Expert in the preparation of warehouse planning for packing and dispatching by providing information related to the pre-defined election requirement: -National election, Local election, Referendum and the like.
- Undertake and actively participate on packing and dispatching process of election materials.
- Make packing of election materials based on the operations and training department official checklist, operational schedule and list of Training room and polling stations with no error.
Processes to manage and/or control
- Packing and dispatching functions such as receiving election materials, packing, dispatching and proper documentation, Material handling & safety measures
- Any other tasks as assigned by your line manager
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- MA or BA degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Accounting and Finance, Business management or related field.
- 0 for Masters or 3 years for Degree relevant Experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with packing materials, techniques, and shipping regulations.
