About the Role
Ogari Business Group PLC is seeking a highly organized and motivated Office Assistant – Import & Export Documentation to support our growing international trade operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing import and export documents, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with shipping and logistics partners, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Import & Export Documentation
- Prepare Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Instructions, and other export documents.
- Prepare and organize import shipping documentation.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of all shipping documents.
- Maintain documentation for customs clearance and international shipments.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs clearing agents, banks, suppliers, and customers.
- Monitor shipment documentation and ensure timely processing.
- Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
Administrative Duties
- Prepare official letters and correspondence.
- Receive and respond to emails and telephone inquiries professionally.
- Scan, photocopy, print, and archive documents.
- Register incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain office records and documentation.
- Support management with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Ensure confidentiality of company information.
Record Management
- Maintain shipment tracking records.
- Update documentation registers and databases.
- Organize electronic files and document archives.
- Prepare documentation status reports when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management,
- Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Marketing,International Trade, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in import/export documentation or office administration is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with strong computer skills are encouraged to apply.
Mandatory Computer Skills

- Microsoft Outlook and Email Management
- PDF creation and editing
- Document scanning and electronic filing
- Internet and online communication
- Fast and accurate typing
Knowledge of ERP systems, logistics software, or customs documentation systems is an added advantage.
