Job Purpose

To conduct and monitor microbiological testing of raw, treated, and finished water and ensure that water quality, production areas, equipment, and hygiene practices meet required microbiological and food-safety standards. The position is responsible for microbiological analysis, environmental monitoring, sanitation verification, proper sampling, contamination investigation, documentation, and supporting compliance with food-safety and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw, treated, and finished water to detect harmful microorganisms.

• Monitor microbiological quality throughout the water-treatment and production processes.

• Conduct environmental monitoring of production areas, equipment, surfaces, and personnel hygiene.

• Verify the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection procedures.

• Collect, handle, label, and prepare water and environmental samples properly for laboratory analysis.

•  Investigate microbial contamination and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

• Maintain accurate microbiological testing and monitoring records.

• Ensure products meet required microbiological and food-safety standards.

• Support compliance with applicable quality, food-safety, GMP, and hygiene requirements.

Education: Degree

• Field of Study: Applied Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, and related fields.

• Experience: More than 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Age: 20–30 years.

   Skills:

Microbiological Awareness: Basic understanding of microbiological testing, contamination, and water-quality requirements.

Good Laboratory Practice (GLP): Good understanding of GLP and proper laboratory procedures.

Food Safety and Hygiene: Knowledge of safety rules, GMP, and hygiene requirements.

Communication and Teamwork: Good communication and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
