 JOB DESCRIPTION

Amigos SACCO Ltd., a dynamic SACCO on track to become a Top 10 Asset-Leading SACCO in Africa by 2030, seeks a welcoming Member Services Officers to be the first point of contact at our branches; handle member onboarding, KYC compliance, transactions, and product promotion while ensuring friction-free, trust-building member experiences.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboard new members through comprehensive welcome and orientation protocols
  • Verify and validate registration documents in compliance with KYC and cooperative regulations
  • Educate members on rights, obligations, and product details to build trust from day one
  • Manage the member lifecycle through structured engagement touchpoints to prevent account dormancy
  • Cross-sell and up-sell financial products including savings and investments
  • Resolve member grievances within standardized SLAs and track issues to completion
  • Educate members on information security, internal controls, and digital safety to restore institutional trust

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Educational and Work Experience:           

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Cooperative Management, Marketing, Management, Accounting, or related business fields.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in customer-facing or front-office customer service experience in financial institutions.
