Manager, Research, Product & Business Development Division

Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a pioneer Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia and working for the vision of Driving Digital Solutions for all. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state of the art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. 

 Currently, PSS has a vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening. 

Description of Duties

•  Involve in the formulation and implementation of the Innovation, Business and Marketing & Branding strategies.
• Involve in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and process documents for the Innovation, Business and Marketing & Branding functions Identify, approach and establish business partnership with potential partners in Donors, government organs, service providers, financial institutions, Fintech, card schemes and international corporations
• Manage the development of a wide range of innovative products and services
• Manage the development of tools to facilitate research, proofs of concepts, and roadmap items
• Conduct products and services feasibility study, benchmark survey, customer satisfaction survey, marketing, company, industry and country-wide research
• Develop and present research proposals to management for approval
• Design and evaluate innovative business models through internal and market analysis, including feasibility assessments.
• Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business cases that drive growth and market expansion.
• Manage and optimize the performance of existing partnerships, ensuring continuous value creation and strategic alignment
• Conduct performance metrics
• Prepare budget for the work unit
• Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development
• Prepare periodic reports.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor

Qualification & Work Experience

•  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field from a recognized institution.
• At least 8 years relevant experience in business development, partnerships, strategic management, or management consulting.
• Experience in product development
• Strong research and analysis skills
• Strong communication skills and a team player
