JOB DESCRIPTION – MACHINERY, DUMP TRUCK VEHICLE & EQUIPMENT TEAM LEADER

- Job Purpose
To coordinate and supervise the effective operation, maintenance, utilization, and allocation of company machinery, dump trucks, vehicles, and equipment to support construction projects efficiently and safely.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate the allocation and utilization of machinery, dump trucks, and equipment.
- Monitor daily equipment operations, working hours, fuel consumption, and utilization.
- Ensure proper preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain equipment records, logbooks, inspection reports, and maintenance history.
- Coordinate repair, servicing, and spare-parts requirements with the Workshop and Logistics teams.
- Monitor operators and drivers and ensure compliance with safety and company procedures.
- Check equipment condition before and after use and report damages or defects.
- Coordinate equipment movement between projects and sites.
- Monitor fuel consumption and identify abnormal usage or losses.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly machinery and equipment utilization reports.
- Ensure proper handover and return of machinery and equipment.
- Report breakdowns, accidents, misuse, and operational risks to management.
- Supervise and provide guidance to machinery and equipment operators.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3years of relevant experience, preferably in construction or heavy equipment operations.
- Supervisory/team leadership experience is an advantage.

- Good understanding of equipment maintenance and utilization.
- Strong leadership and coordination skills.
- Good reporting and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer and Excel skills.
