Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly agile and motivated Lead Enkutatash Art Distributor to manage the neighborhood distribution of custom, hand-drawn Adey Abeba artwork. The role involves managing a high-speed delivery route, safely transporting delicate paper portfolios in unpredictable weather conditions, successfully presenting the artwork to neighborhood households, and aggressively negotiating fair holiday compensation before competing teams arrive.

• Previous experience in street-level neighborhood navigation during the rainy season is a strong advantage.

Location: Addis Ababa

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produce, organize, and manage a high-volume portfolio of custom, hand-drawn Enkutatash pictures using A4 paper and colored markers.

• Navigate local neighborhood routes rapidly to reach targeted households before rival distribution groups.

• Safely transport delicate artwork, ensuring the paper remains completely unwrinkled, unsmudged, and free of Kiremt mud.

• Confidently present the artwork directly to the head of the household or strategically slide it under closed residential gates.

• Execute effective negotiation tactics to secure maximum financial compensation, strongly advocating for crisp bank notes over coins.

• Maintain high situational awareness to safely avoid local street dogs, holiday shoppers, and heavy neighborhood traffic.

• Collaborate with production team members (younger siblings/friends) to ensure a steady supply of fresh artwork throughout the shift.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic traditional artistic skills, specifically the ability to draw identical Adey Abeba flowers rapidly under pressure.

• Exceptional cardio stamina, physical agility, and the ability to sprint short distances between residential gates.

• Strong verbal negotiation skills and high confidence when communicating with aunts, uncles, and neighborhood elders.

• Excellent physical asset management skills to protect paper inventory from rain, mud, and accidental tearing.

• In-depth geographical knowledge of local sefer (neighborhood) shortcuts and high-yield residential zones.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, highly competitive holiday environment.
