JOB SUMMARY

LABORATORY SAMPLE COLLECTION OFFICER

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other laboratory specimens safely and professionally.

• Properly identify, label, handle, and transport specimens.

• Prepare patients for sample collection and provide necessary instructions.

• Maintain accurate specimen records.

• Follow infection-prevention and laboratory safety procedures.

• Ensure proper handling and timely delivery of collected samples.

• Maintain patient confidentiality.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science/Technology.

• Valid professional license/registration.

• Experience in laboratory sample collection is an advantage.

• Good communication and patient-handling skills.

• Strong attention to detail.
