Job Summary
Metemamen Microfinance Institution is looking for an experienced IT Auditor to evaluate and improve the company’s information systems, technology infrastructure, security controls, and compliance processes. The successful candidate will conduct IT audits, assess risks, review controls, and provide recommendations to enhance system security and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform IT audits based on approved audit plans and procedures.
Evaluate IT controls, systems, networks, databases, and applications.
Review information security measures, disaster recovery plans, backups, and business continuity processes.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews.
Identify risks, document audit findings, and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare audit reports, working papers, and risk assessments.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
Review new technology implementations and automated information systems.
Support the audit team with technical expertise and knowledge sharing.
Job Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in:
Computer Science
Information Technology
Information Science
Management Information Systems
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Related IT fields
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
At least 2 years of experience in IT/System Auditing.
Strong understanding of IT audit standards, cybersecurity, risk management, and internal controls.
Experience with IT risk assessment, disaster recovery, and security auditing.
