Health Officer

• Lead and deliver Mobile Health and Nutrition Team (MHNT) services in line with national guidelines.

• Provide outpatient, emergency, preventive, and nutrition-related healthcare services, including diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up.

• Coordinate day-to-day MHNT operations, outreach activities, and collaboration with health authorities and community structures.

• Supervise, mentor, and build the capacity of health staff to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with clinical standards.

• Ensure accurate patient documentation, reporting, quality assurance, and effective management of medical supplies and resources.

• Promote child protection, gender equality, inclusion, and community accountability in all program activities.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support project objectives.

Job Requirements

• Education: HO/Public health, BSc Nursing Degree/diploma from a recognized University/health college

• Minimum of 3(three) years of experience in emergency health/nutrition programs, MHNT, and community-based services

• Strong leadership, team management and coordination skills

• Extremely flexible, able to work independently, and have the ability to cope with stressful situations and frustrations.

• Ability to work and create the partnership with key government and peer partners and stakeholders
