What was started as a simple trading business entity in 2005, Horra Trading has made it possible to create diversified businesses under Horra Corporate Group. Currently, Horra Corporate Group business portfolio includes coffee and oil
seeds export, coffee plantation, automotive assembly, import and distribution, propylene technology manufacturing, technology, real estate development and transit and forwarding. Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by the CEO, Mr.
Adm Kedir, and by qualified and experienced professionals, with 550 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.
Job Purpose
The General Service & Maintenance Officer is responsible for coordinating and monitoring general service, office facility, maintenance, and administrative support activities to ensure a safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained working environment. The position coordinates routine maintenance, follows up on service providers and contractors, manages office facilities and supplies, and ensures timely resolution of maintenance and general service requirements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day general service and facility management activities.
- Ensure offices, common areas, and company facilities are clean, safe, organized, and properly maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of company facilities and identify maintenance requirements.
- Follow up on office furniture, fixtures, equipment, and facility-related issues.
- Coordinate office relocation, workspace arrangement, and other facility requirements.
- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities for buildings, offices, furniture, electrical, plumbing, and other facility-related systems.
- Receive and follow up on maintenance requests from employees and departments.
- Coordinate with technicians, contractors, and service providers for maintenance and repair works.
- Monitor maintenance work to ensure it is completed properly, on time, and according to required standards.
- Coordinate with external service providers and contractors for general service and maintenance activities.
- Obtain quotations and support the procurement process for maintenance and service requirements.
- Monitor the performance and quality of outsourced service providers.
- Follow up on contracts, service schedules, and maintenance agreements

Qualifications
- BA Degree/Diploma Management & General Service Diploma in Management, Business Administration, General Service, or related field.
- 2 years’ work experience for BA & 6 years for Diploma
