Job Description
A junior mechanical engineer upports production by maintaining, repairing, and improving plant machinery. Responsibilities include routine machine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical breakdowns, assisting with equipment installations, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and documenting maintenance tasks to minimize factory downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect pumps, conveyors, mixers, and packaging lines daily.
- Fix broken or worn-out machine parts quickly.
- Help install new processing equipment safely.
- Test machines to make sure they run well.
- Follow strict health and safety rules for food.
- Write reports on machine fixes and checks.
Requirements
- Level III in General Mechanics or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/mechanics
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and motors.
- Skill in using tools and reading technical drawings.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced factory setting.
