Sky Property Management PLC is looking for an experienced and competent General Foreman to join our building construction project team in Addis Ababa.

The General Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating day-to-day construction activities on site, ensuring that works are executed safely, efficiently, and according to drawings, specifications, quality standards, and the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and site workers.
• Organize and allocate workers according to daily and weekly work requirements.
• Read and understand architectural and structural drawings and communicate work requirements to workers.
• Supervise concrete, reinforcement, formwork, masonry, plastering, finishing, and other building works.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and required quality standards.
• Have a good understanding of structural systems and construction sequences.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Management, subcontractors, and other site personnel.
• Monitor daily productivity, work progress, material usage, and manpower requirements.
• Identify site problems and coordinate with the Site Engineer for timely solutions.
• Ensure proper use and care of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Enforce site safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Maintain discipline and effective communication among workers and trades.
• Work effectively in congested, restricted, and difficult-access construction areas.
• Prepare or assist with daily site progress and manpower reports.
• Perform other construction-related duties as assigned by the Project Management.
