Daye Bensa Business PLC, a leading player in the coffee export and diversified business sector, is seeking highly motivated and experienced senior accountant to join our team for the following position.

Position: Financial Reporting, Budgeting & GL Senior Accountant

Reports To: Head of Finance Operations

Required no: 1

Main Responsibility: General ledger management, month-end close, financial reporting, audit coordination, IFRS compliance, budgeting oversight, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall integrity of the General Ledger (GL).

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

• Review and approve financial reports prepared by the reporting team.

• Ensure IFRS compliance across all accounting records and disclosures.

• Coordinate external audits and statutory reporting requirements.

• Lead budget preparation, consolidation, and variance analysis.

• Supervise Financial Reporting Accountant(s).

• Support management reporting and financial analysis.

Job Requirements

Requirements & Skills

·         Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

·         6 years of proven experience on specific position.

·         Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

·         Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

·         Experience with accounting software and ERP
