Job Description
ROLE SUMMARY
The Finance Manager oversees Lula's financial operations and inventory control, ensuring accurate accounting, healthy cash flow, and reliable stock management for raw materials (fabric, thread, trims) and finished goods across the production cycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage day-to-day accounting: bookkeeping, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports for the General Manager.
- Oversee budgeting, cost control and cash-flow planning across departments.
- Supervise the Inventory unit to ensure accurate stock records for raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with Operations and Sales on material costing, pricing and order profitability.
- Manage payroll processing in coordination with HR & Admin.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations and statutory filings.
- Liaise with banks, auditors and external stakeholders as needed.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial controls.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CPA or equivalent a plus).
- 4+ years of accounting/finance experience, ideally in manufacturing or trading businesses.
- Experience overseeing inventory or stock control functions preferred.
- Solid understanding of Ethiopian tax and financial compliance requirements.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- High attention to detail and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to coordinate costing and cash flow with Operations and Sales.
Clear reporting and communication skills.
