Position: Finance Manager
Location: Kuriftu Resort Awash
Place of Work: Awash 40
Department: Finance
Reports To: General Manager / Corporate Finance Director
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise the resort’s finance and accounting operations.
Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
Monitor revenue, expenses, cash flow, and cost-control performance.
Ensure proper financial controls and compliance with company policies.
Coordinate with the General Manager and Corporate Finance team on financial performance.
Monitor GOP, departmental profitability, payroll, purchasing, and inventory controls.
Lead, supervise, and develop the resort finance team.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Job Requirements

Key Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Chief Accountant, or in a similar senior finance position is required.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Good understanding of hotel accounting operations, revenue control, and inventory management.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
