Job Description
East African Special Economic Zone is seeking a highly competent and results-oriented Finance Manager to lead and oversee the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all financial operations of the company.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Manage statutory reporting, audits, and relationships with external auditors.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to management.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and treasury functions.
- Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for cost reduction and profitability improvement.
- Support business planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Trained And Implement IFRs
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification such asACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Experience in Industrial park Development, Real-estate development, manufacturing, trading, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
