Salary : 75000 ETB Basic plus 11,000ETB HA
A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Finance Department Head to lead its finance and accounting function. This is a senior leadership opportunity for a strategic finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing and excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Manage cash flow, financial controls, and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax regulations and accounting standards.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Lead and develop the finance team while driving operational efficiency.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 8–10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Mandatory experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills are required.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
