About the Organization
Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD) is a local Civil Society Organization established in 1998. TSD operates across Addis Ababa, Oromia, Sidama, Central, and Southern Ethiopia, focusing on youth empowerment, peace building, gender development, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), climate justice, and sustainable livelihoods.
Position Summary
The Finance Assistant Intern will provide direct administrative and operational support to the Head of Finance, Administration, and HR. This internship offers a valuable hands-on learning opportunity for a motivated individual to gain practical experience in financial documentation, compliance tracking, record-keeping, and general financial administration within the non-governmental sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Head of Finance, Administration, and HR in organizing, filing, and archiving financial documents, payment vouchers, invoices, and receipts.
Perform preliminary reviews of financial documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with organizational procedures.
Assist in logging, digitizing, and updating financial data into tracking sheets and financial templates.
Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits.
Assist in handling general administrative tasks, financial correspondence, and documentation workflows within the unit.
Execute other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience: Fresh graduates or individuals with less than 1 year of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
Language: Excellent written and spoken English and Amharic are required.
Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Key Competencies: Strong organizational skills, eagerness to learn, high level of integrity, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
