Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry S.C. previously known as Kadisco Chemical Industry PLC is a privately owned company located in Addis Ababa in the Akaki Kality Industrial Zone area. Kadisco is a company that traces its origins back from a small automotive parts dealership that was operating in one of the busy streets of Addis Ababa back in late 60’s. During the period until 1975 it had the opportunity to act as the sole distributor for Sadoline Paints. In 1979 it was registered as the sole company to manufacture adhesives and glue. By stages, the company developed into a diversified paint manufacturer.
In February 2015, Asian Paints Ltd and Kadisco Paint and Adhesive Industry SC formed a joint venture for business in Ethiopia and came to be known as Kadisco Asian paints. Asian Paints is India’s leading paint company and Asia’s second largest, with a group turnover of USD 2.7 billion. The group has an enviable reputation in the corporate world for professionalism, fast track growth, and building shareholder equity. Asian Paints operates in 19 countries and has 26 paint manufacturing facilities in the world servicing consumers in over 65 countries.
Today the company produces a full range of paints for the construction, industrial and automotive sectors. It also produces wood and concrete lacquers as well as adhesives for the wood and leather industry.

1. Job Purpose
The Executive I – MIS is responsible for collecting, validating, consolidating, analyzing, and reporting business information to support effective management decision-making. The position ensures the accuracy, reliability, completeness, and timely availability of management information, particularly relating to sales, production, inventory, operations, and other key business performance indicators.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Collect data from Sales, Production, Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, Operations, and other relevant departments.
- Consolidate information from ERP/MIS systems, databases, Excel files, and operational reports.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability before reporting.
- Maintain MIS databases, reporting files, dashboards, and historical records.
- Identify missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or abnormal data and coordinate corrective action with responsible departments.
- Prepare standardized weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad-hoc management reports.
- Analyze business performance against targets, budgets, previous periods, and forecasts.
- Identify trends, gaps, significant variances, risks, and opportunities and communicate findings to the General Manager.
- Develop dashboards, charts, graphs, and management presentations.
- Continuously improve and automate reporting processes to reduce manual work and improve reporting efficiency.
3. Sales MIS Responsibilities
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
- Monitor actual sales against targets and calculate achievement percentages and variances.
- Analyze sales by product, region, territory, branch, salesperson, customer, channel, and market segment where applicable.
- Analyze sales volume, sales value, growth, product performance, and regional/territorial performance.
- Identify high-performing and underperforming products, territories, and customer segments.
- Support sales forecasting using historical and current performance data.
- Prepare sales dashboards and management insights.
4. Production MIS Responsibilities
- Collect and validate daily production data from production units/plants.
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly production reports.
- Monitor actual production against production plans and targets.
- Analyze production efficiency, productivity, capacity utilization, downtime, yield, rejection/scrap, and production variance where applicable.
- Track production volume by product, production line, plant, or unit.
- Highlight major production gaps, trends, and operational issues to the General Manager.
5. Integrated Sales and Production Analysis
- Analyze sales demand versus production output.
- Compare sales forecasts with production plans.
- Monitor finished-goods availability against sales requirements.
- Analyze stock levels against sales demand.
- Compare product-wise sales and production performance.
- Provide management with an integrated view of commercial and operational performance.
6. Weekly MIS Report
- Sales target, actual sales, achievement %, variance, and growth.
- Production target, actual production, achievement %, and variance.
- Inventory/opening stock, production receipts, sales/dispatch, and closing stock where applicable.
- Key achievements, major gaps, critical issues, risks, and required management attention.
- Recommended actions based on the week's performance.
7. Monthly MIS Report
- Executive summary and key management highlights.
- Sales and production performance.
- Target versus actual analysis.
- Month-on-month and year-on-year comparisons.
- Product, regional, territorial, and operational performance.
- Major variances, trends, risks, issues, and recommendations.
8. Quarterly MIS Report
- Quarterly sales and production performance.
- Quarterly target achievement and variance analysis.
- Year-to-date performance.
- Quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year comparison.
- Product and regional performance.
- Business trends, operational performance, risks, forecasts, and management recommendations.
9. Data Quality and Reliability
- Verify source data before using it in management reports.
- Cross-check information received from different departments.
- Establish and apply data validation and reconciliation checks.
- Investigate unusual data movements and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate formulas, reporting logic, source records, and version control.
- Ensure confidentiality and controlled access to management information.
- Escalate material data-quality issues to the General Manager.
10. Management Dashboard and Reporting
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards for management.
- Use appropriate visualization to communicate business performance clearly.
- Provide concise explanations of what happened, why it happened, and the key management implications.
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports requested by the General Manager.
- Support management meetings with accurate data, analysis, and presentations.

Requirements
Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/BA) in any of the following or a related field:

- Other related fields of study
Experience
- Relevant experience in MIS, data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or information systems is preferred.
- Experience in sales and production reporting and analysis is highly desirable.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, FMCG, distribution, or other business environments is an advantage.
- Practical experience preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports is preferred.
Technical Competencies
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, dashboards, data validation, and data consolidation.
- Power Query and data preparation skills.
- Power BI or equivalent business intelligence and dashboard tools.
- Basic databases and SQL knowledge is an advantage.
- ERP/MIS systems and data extraction/reporting.
