JOB DESCRIPTION
HH Consulting Architects and Engineers PLC is seeking a detail-oriented Drafting Designer to prepare accurate architectural and engineering drawings for building and related projects. The role supports the design team by producing clear, precise, coordinated, and professional technical drawings in accordance with project requirements.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare accurate architectural and engineering drawings from design concepts and technical information.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and working drawings using CAD software.
• Revise drawings based on comments from architects, engineers, clients, and site teams.
• Ensure drawings follow project standards, dimensions, scales, and drafting conventions.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical requirements.
• Prepare drawing layouts, schedules, details, and documentation for project submissions.
• Maintain organized electronic drawing files and revision records.
• Assist design teams with quantity take-offs and technical documentation.
• Review drawings for accuracy and identify inconsistencies before submission.
• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high drafting quality.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant drafting/design experience.
- Experience preparing professional architectural or engineering drawings.
Skills
- Strong AutoCAD skills; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.
- Excellent understanding of plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and technical details.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
