District , Operation Manager

Job Mission

Plans, coordinates, directs and supervises the overall activities of branches under the district; follow up the implementation and execution of different Bank’s policies and procedures; visit customer’s businesses and monitor branches performance against plan target.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the major functions of the District;
• be responsible for the - deposit mobilization strategy implementation and deposit target achievement of the district;
• Follow up the implementation of the banking service operational   strategies and deposit; related to services under district;
• Follows up   service delivery of districts /branches provided to the clients; ensures acceptable level of service quality; related to s
• Participates in market assessment and marketing plan, environmental scanning and potential identification of branches and districts; with regard to potentials
• Report periodic results to the Senior Director- Branch Operation and resource and other concerned organs;
• Analyze the reasons and suggest improvements in case of operational underperformance of individual deposits and customer base;
•  Review of the technical design and improvement of all products sales;
• Report periodic results to the Department,
• Creates inter- intra districts integration for the achievement of bank’s strategic objectives having corporate mentality;
• Provides ongoing support to branches; 
• Manages over all branch’s requisitions under district supervision;
• Strict follow up ongoing share sales and periodic report to department;
• Prepare different initiation in mobilization of share sales for branches;
• Strict follow up and monitor performance of manager- Share Sales;

Qualification: 

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related fields.

Experience: 

• Six (6) years for a Master's and eight (8) years for a Bachelor are of relevant experience of which 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
• IFB Training Certification is Mandatory.
