Job Title: Contract Administrator

Employment Type: Full-Time

The Contract Administrator is responsible for managing and monitoring the contractual, technical, financial, and administrative aspects of construction and consultancy projects. The Individual must have relevant practical experience in the construction/engineering consultancy industry and must be capable of independently reading, interpreting, and understanding drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract documents. The individual must understand how these documents relate to one another and must be able to use them to verify quantities, assess variations, review payment applications, identify discrepancies, and support contract administration decisions.

Job Requirements

Experience: 2 Years and Above

The position must have a strong practical understanding of the construction and design industry and be able to read, interpret, and understand:

• Architectural and engineering drawings

• Technical specifications

• Bills of Quantities (BOQ)

• Construction contracts and contract conditions

• Project schedules and work programs

• Relevant industry practices and standard

• Payment applications and quantity verification

• Claims and extension-of-time matters

• Project schedules and progress measurement

• Contract documentation and reporting

The Contract Administrator must be able to compare the contract, drawings, specifications, and BOQ with the actual work being performed and identify inconsistencies, omissions, variations, claims, and other contractual issues.

The role requires relevant practical experience in BOQ preparation, quantity measurement, and BOQ review, together with sufficient technical knowledge to understand how design and construction information affects contractual and financial matters.
