GROUP MARKETING, COMMUNICATIONS & DIGITAL MEDIA DEPARTMENT
Career Opportunities
A diversified Ethiopian business group operating in agriculture, seedling production, manufacturing, real estate, hospitality, electric mobility, bottled water, and retail is establishing a centralized Group Marketing, Communications & Digital Media Department.
We are looking for talented, energetic, creative and business-minded professionals to join the new department.
The department will support multiple businesses and brands and will be responsible for strengthening brand visibility, customer engagement, digital communication and sales-oriented marketing.
Job Purpose
To create high-quality visual content for the group's businesses, including photography, videos, graphics, promotional materials and digital content.
This position will involve both office-based creative work and regular visits to farms, factories, construction projects, hotels, retail businesses and customer locations.
Major Responsibilities
- Produce professional photographs and short-form videos.
- Edit videos for social media and advertising.
- Design social-media posts and digital advertisements.
- Design brochures, flyers, catalogues and promotional materials.
- Develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns.
- Produce product and service photography.
- Document farm activities, production, manufacturing, construction and customer experiences.
- Create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Support branding and new-product launches.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Officer.
- Organize and maintain the group's photo, video and design library.
- Maintain consistent visual quality across different company brands.
Job Purpose
To manage the group's day-to-day digital presence, social-media platforms, digital campaigns and online customer engagement.
Major Responsibilities
- Manage company Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
- Prepare and maintain social-media publishing schedules.
- Publish professional and engaging content.
- Manage Facebook, Instagram and other digital advertising campaigns.
- Monitor messages, comments and customer inquiries.
- Coordinate online leads with the appropriate business or sales team.
- Maintain company Google Business profiles where applicable.
- Support WhatsApp Business communication.
- Monitor campaign performance, reach, engagement, leads and conversions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly digital-performance reports.
- Follow current digital-marketing trends.
- Work closely with the content creator and marketing manager.
- Ensure all business accounts and access credentials remain under company control.
- Support promotional campaigns, launches and events.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should understand how to turn social-media activity into customer engagement, qualified leads and measurable business results.
Location
- Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with occasional travel to company operations and project locations.

Requirements
- Degree, diploma or strong professional portfolio in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Photography, Communications or a related field.
- Strong practical experience with graphic-design software.
- Video shooting and editing capability.
- Photography skills.
- Experience creating social-media content.
- Creative and able to develop ideas independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly to business locations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous work.
Additional Advantage
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva or comparable professional creative software will be an advantage.
