About The Job Job Summary

The Construction Engineer will be responsible for providing technical leadership and engineering support for the planning, coordination, and execution of construction activities. The position bridges construction management and site engineering, ensuring that construction works are technically sound, properly sequenced, adequately resourced, and executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and contractual requirements.

The Construction Engineer will work closely with the Construction Manager, Project Engineer, Site Engineers, ǪA/ǪC team, Planning team, Procurement team, foremen, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical issues, improve construction productivity, and achieve project targets.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.

• Professional registration or relevant construction license is an advantage.

• Additional training in construction management, project management, planning, ǪA/ǪC, or HSE is an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction project execution.

• Experience in building construction, infrastructure, industrial, commercial, or similar projects.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating site construction activities and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong practical experience in structural, architectural, and finishing works.

• Experience in construction planning, productivity monitoring, and resource coordination is preferred.

• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple construction work fronts is an advantage.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Construction methods and sequencing.

• Construction drawings and specifications.

• Structural and civil construction.

• Architectural and finishing works.

• Basic coordination of MEP interfaces.

• BOǪ interpretation and quantity verification.

• Construction productivity and resource management.

• Construction planning and scheduling.

• Ǫuality control and inspection procedures.

• Construction materials and workmanship requirements.

• Construction safety requirements.

• Knowledge of construction contracts and FIDIC is an advantage.

• AutoCAD – Required.

• MS Office, particularly MS Excel – Required.

• MS Project and/or Primavera P6 – Advantage.

• BIM/Revit knowledge – Advantage.

• Construction reporting and project management software – Advantage.
