What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities:

Under the overall guidance and leadership of the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and strategic affairs of the Institution. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide clear strategic leadership and direction to build a strong institutional foundation and achieve growth milestones.
• Ensure solid operating and financial performance in alignment with the MFI’s strategic plan.
• Build, coach, and inspire a cohesive, results-oriented, and high-performing executive team.
• Formulate, establish, and continuously revisit organizational policies, operational procedures, processes, and systems.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives to drive innovative, scalable, and inclusive financial services.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethical integrity, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration & Reporting: Collaboration is key, and you will interact with Board of Directors

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

Years of Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in the Microfinance and Banking sector.

Relevant Experience: At least 3 years at a senior managerial level (Head of Department or above).

Skills:

Soft Skills: Innovative & visionary mindset; strong solution orientation; high ethical integrity; proven track record in talent development, BPR, and financial performance management

Education & Certifications

Educational Requirements: B.A. or equivalent in Business, Finance, or related fields. (MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field is highly desirable)
