The client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Canteen Services Associate to oversee the efficient, hygienic, and high-quality operation of company canteens and coffee corners across multiple locations. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates looking to build a long-term career in hospitality and facility services within a multinational organization.

The successful candidate will ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, vendor performance, service quality, and employee satisfaction while maintaining compliance with company policies and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of company canteens and coffee corners.

• Ensure timely and authorized meal service.

• Monitor meal eligibility and maintain consumption records.

• Verify supplier invoices and support payment reconciliation.

• Ensure uninterrupted availability of food, water, electricity, and related services.

• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.

• Inspect food quality and ensure suppliers meet company requirements.

• Monitor food storage, handling, cleanliness, and waste prevention.

• Coordinate maintenance of canteen equipment and facilities.

• Monitor outsourced service providers and vendor performance.

• Address employee feedback and improve service quality.

• Coordinate catering services for meetings, trainings, and company events.

• Maintain operational records and support internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Nutrition, or a related field.

• Fresh graduates from the 2026 graduating class are encouraged to apply.

• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.

• Applicants should have graduated from one of the following institutions:

• Hawassa University

• University of Gondar

• Bahir Dar University

• Wollo University

• Arba Minch University

• Other accredited public universities offering Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, Nutrition, or related programs.

• Applicants from private colleges will only be considered if they graduated from an institution located in Addis Ababa. Applications from private colleges outside Addis Ababa will not be considered.

Experience

• No prior work experience is required.

• Certification in Food Safety, Hygiene, or Catering Services is an added advantage.

• Basic training in Facility Management or Customer Service is desirable.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-focused attitude.

• Good organizational and planning skills.

• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office; Excel is an advantage).

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is an advantage.

• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel between company operational sites when required.
