Job Description:

The Business Development Lead is responsible for driving growth of R&D Group's outsourcing service lines – including Business Process Outsourcing (data analytics and call center services), HR outsourcing (Employer of Record and payroll management), and IT Outsourcing (ITO) – by identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients within Ethiopia and across international markets.

The role combines market research, strategic planning, relationship management, and deal closing expertise to expand R&D Group's client base and revenue across all outsourcing service lines.

The position plays a critical role in positioning R&D Group as a preferred outsourcing partner regionally and globally, growing sustainable revenue streams, and building long-term client relationships by leveraging established sector networks and deep industry expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

➢ Identify and target new business opportunities for R&D Group's outsourcing services within Ethiopia and in international markets.

➢ Continuously research and monitor local and global markets to identify emerging outsourcing trends, potential clients, and growth opportunities.

➢ Leverage existing professional networks and relationships within the BPO, HR outsourcing, and ITO sectors to generate qualified leads.

➢ Utilize multiple channels – including cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events – to identify and engage prospective clients.

➢ Develop a deep understanding of prospective clients' operations, pain points, and objectives to tailor proposals and pitches effectively.

➢ Develop and execute comprehensive business development plans, outlining objectives, target markets, and strategies for each service line.

➢ Prioritize and drive initiatives that align with R&D Group's long-term growth objectives, adapting plans in response to market dynamics.

➢ Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities across the BPO, HR outsourcing, and ITO sectors to inform strategy.

➢ Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that clearly articulate R&D Group's value proposition to prospective clients.

➢ Lead negotiations with prospective clients and partners on pricing, contract terms, and service-level agreements to secure favorable outcomes.

➢ Close new business deals and partnerships in a manner that builds trust, transparency, and long-term client relationships.

➢ Travel within Ethiopia and internationally as required to meet prospective clients, attend conferences, and represent R&D Group.

➢ Represent R&D Group at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, both locally and internationally, to build visibility and generate leads.

➢ Coordinate with operations, HR, and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover and onboarding of new clients following contract signing.

➢ Maintain an accurate and up-to-date business development pipeline and provide regular reports on progress, opportunities, and outcomes to management.

➢ Support the development of marketing materials and collateral in collaboration with relevant teams to strengthen R&D Group's market positioning.
